The Pharma supply chain branch of GSK, located in Rockville MD, is in search of a student interested in their Biopharmaceutical Technologist CO-OP. This CO-OP is set to last 12 months: from September 30th 2019 – September 25th 2020.
Some responsibilities of this CO-OP involve technical oversight of pharmaceutical products, biopharmaceutical process development, process optimization, statistical data analysis, and much more.
Interested students should have these qualificiations:
- Pursuing a BS/BA/MS degree in either biological or chemical science, engineering, or equivalent technical discipline.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Basic understanding of engineering principles and biotechnology.
- Basic knowledge of biopharmaceutical (protein) manufacturing.
- Must be eligible to work in the US at the time of, and for the duration of their employment. Candidates will be required to furnish evidence of US work authorization.
- Able to work full-time (35-40 hours/week) throughout the 12-month co-op.
- Must have an active student status and/or within 12 months post-graduation from a degree program.
- 3.0 or greater cumulative GPA.
